Reed Diffuser Base

A perfume-grade reed diffuser base, used by professionals and DIY makers alike. It blends easily with essential oils and fragrance oils to make a clear diffuser oil: add your favourite scent, pour into a glass bottle and add reeds.

What you need

• Reed Diffuser Base (this bottle), 300 ml or 500 ml.
• Essential oil or fragrance oil: any of our 10 ml single oils or signature blends.
• Sticks: 3 mm black fibre reed sticks or 4 mm natural rattan sticks.
• A glass diffuser bottle: reuse an empty one, or start with one of our reed diffusers.

How to make your own diffuser oil

1. Mix 20 to 30% oil with 70 to 80% base. For example, 20 to 30 ml essential or fragrance oil with 70 to 80 ml base.
2. Shake well for 30 to 45 seconds.
3. Pour into a glass bottle and insert 4 to 5 reed sticks. Let them soak for a day, then flip once for a fuller scent.
