An extra-thick 4mm natural rattan reed, engineered with wider capillary channels for a richer scent throw in medium-to-large rooms.

Reed diameter has a direct effect on scent throw: a thicker stem carries more oil upward through wider capillary channels. Our 4mm reeds, cut from unbleached Indonesian rattan, are sized specifically for medium-to-large diffuser bottles and rooms that need more than a standard reed can deliver.

At 260mm, they suit tall vases and larger bespoke glassware as much as standard diffuser bottles, and come in natural beige or matte black to match different interior styles.

Make your own diffuser

Pair these reeds with our reed diffuser base and any 10 ml essential oil, or refresh a bottle with a 180 ml refill.

How to use

1. Remove old reeds. Discard dust-clogged reeds from the previous fill.
2. Insert fresh reeds. Use 5–8 sticks — fewer for smaller rooms, more for a stronger throw.
3. Saturate for 24 hours. Allow a full day for capillary saturation before flipping for an instant boost.
